Who doesn’t love marshmallow krispy treats? They’re crispy, crunchy, chewy, ooey-gooey, delicious – do i need to say more? I thought a cereal like Cinnamon Toast Crunch would be the perfect swap for this time of year. I mean, c’mon, this is cinnamon sugar’s time to shine! These marshmallow treats are so simple and SO addicting! They’re perfect to serve at a Halloween or birthday party.
Ingredients:
Instructions:
1. Pour the cereal and mini marshmallows into large mixing and line a 13 x9 in pan with parchment and pray very lightly with cooking spray. Set aside.
2. In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and immediately pour over the cereal and mini marshmallows. Mix until thoroughly coated.
3. Press the mixture into the parchment lined pan. Allow to cool and set.
4. Melt the white chocolate over a double boiler. slowly pour over the treats in an evenly layer smoothing out with a spatula. Allow the chocolate to cool for a few minutes and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
5. When chocolate has hardened cut the treats into squares and serve.
*I used enough chocolate to evenly coat the top and give me a nice layer of chocolate. You may not use all of the melted chocolate.
